Jackie Chan had inked a deal to play a cameo role in Nair San, which has Mohanlal in the title role. Interestingly, Jackie Chan’s pay packet is about six times greater than of Mohanlal’s, according to sources. Nair San is a biographical film made on Ayappan Pillai Madhavan Nair, who posed stiff resistance to the British. Nair San’s shooting will commence in September and it is slated to be filmed in Japan, Mongolia and India. Nair San will be directed by Albert and the venture is produced by Morpheus Ventures. A.R. Rahman scores the music for this film.
