Vaughan and Collingwood forfeit captaincy.

Posted by Michael Scofield

Michael Vaughan has stepped down from his captaincy after the 5 wicket loss against South Africa at Edgbaston. This loss meant that England had lost the series. Meanwhile Paul Collingwood has also stepped down as the ODI captain. Collingwood is currently under a 4 match suspension for slow over rate. So selectors would have to choose 2 captains at the same time. Although Kevin Pietersen may be the forerunner for this post, it is Kevin who has to decide whether he can handle the pressure of captaincy. So suddenly England will be playing under two new captains. Lets wait and watch if England can taste success under new captians.
